Matanot La'Evyonim

One of the mitzvot of Purim is Matanot La'Evyonim - Gifts to the Poor. We are commanded to give the value of at least two meals to two different people experiencing extreme poverty. In order to preserve the dignity of the recipients, Rabbi Hillel collects money through his Discretionary Fund and acts as your agent, anonymously distributing it to the poor on your behalf, on Purim day. In this way you fulfill the mitzvah in the best way possible. Suggested donation: $120 (4 meals at $30 each).
