ICCJ UPDATED COVID PROTOCOL

ICCJ UPDATED COVID PROTOCOL
December 29,2021  Dear Congregants,

As a result of the dangers posed this winter by the various variants of Covid, please make note of the following:

Starting February 1, 2022, everyone over 18 years of age attending religious services, cultural, educational, social, and recreational events at ICCJ, must show evidence of having received a booster shot to be considered fully vaccinated against Covid.

In keeping with our existing policy, all youngsters between the ages of 12 and 18 must show proof of two shots to be considered fully vaccinated against Covid.

For the time being, in keeping with the current New York City guidelines, children under the age of 12 years old will still not be required to show proof of vaccination, although this policy may change in the near future.

We offer several reminders & updates:

Everyone entering the synagogue must wear a mask at all times and maintain appropriate social distancing.

Anyone exhibiting flu-like symptoms, a fever, or been in recent contact with persons showing these signs of illness, are asked not to enter the building.

Additionally, for contact tracing purposes, if anyone contracts Covid, within days of being at ICCJ, please call the synagogue office at 718-591-5353 or email helena@iccj2004.org, davidschwartzny@gmail.com or samweiss54@gmail.com to let us know.

Anyone returning from a trip abroad, or a cruise, should not enter the synagogue building for at least one week after returning home or show proof of a negative PCR test.

As always, we appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these policies.

Regards,
David Schwartz and Sam Weiss
